Diversity, distribution, and species status of the fish in Banten Bay, Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the species diversity, distribution and status of fish found in coastal waters Banten Bay. Samplings were carried out 7 times at three locations namely Cengkok (on February-March 2019), Bojonegara (January-February, August-September 2020), Kemayungan-Linduk (February-April 2021) Bay, using gill nets, trammel net, cast hand-line, beach seine, mini trawl. Results this showed that caught Bay consisted 111 species, distributed areas, (32 species), (58 (51 species). The eveness, dominance indices 2.185 - 3.763, 0.630 0.781, 0.072 0.233 respectively, indicating medium-high diversity. These spreading marine water, fresh estuary, freshwater marine, estuary freshwater. common location Ellochelon vaigiensis, Planiliza subviridis, Leiognathus equula. In general, most classified as least concern (LC), while two vulnerable (VU), one was near threatened (NT), ones endangered (EN).
